WackoWave Inc ("WackoWave", "we", "us") operates WackoWave OS, an AI-assisted platform connecting jobseekers, staffing consultants, and employers. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

• Profile data — name, contact details, work history, skills, certifications, and compensation preferences, either entered directly or imported when you connect LinkedIn.
• Documents — resumes, cover letters, and identity or credential documents you upload for verification.
• Usage data — pages viewed, actions taken in the platform, and job-matching or application activity performed by your AI agent on your behalf.
• Communications — messages you send us and correspondence generated through submission or outreach features.

2. How we use information

• To build and maintain your bench or candidate profile.
• To match you with relevant roles and, where you've enabled it, to submit applications automatically on your behalf.
• To run document and credential verification checks.
• To communicate with you about your account, submissions, and platform updates.
• To improve matching quality, platform reliability, and fraud detection.

3. Sharing of information

We share candidate profile and submission data with employers, staffing partners, or recruiters only as directed by your visibility and submission settings (including "ghost mode," where your profile stays hidden from employers). We do not sell personal data. We use infrastructure providers (including Google Cloud / Firebase) and LinkedIn's OAuth service to operate the platform, and those providers process data on our behalf under their own security commitments.

4. Data retention and security

We retain profile, document, and submission records for as long as your account is active, or as needed to meet legal and audit-trail obligations. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to candidate documents and verification results is limited to authorized personnel and systems.

5. Your rights and choices

• Access, correct, or delete your profile information from your account settings, or by emailing us.
• Disable AI auto-apply at any time; this stops new automated submissions but does not withdraw ones already sent.
• Disconnect LinkedIn or revoke access from your LinkedIn account settings.
• Request a copy or deletion of your data by contacting hello@wackowave.solutions.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember platform preferences. We do not currently use third-party advertising trackers.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the platform evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
